What is Core Club?

My Core Club concept focuses on building your core and back strength, improving your cardiovascular fitness, whilst maintaining a strong body for a happier, healthier life. I focus on specific controlled pilates inspired core exercises, to activate your core and glutes, combined with a blend of cardio HIIT and strength training.
My workouts are fun, challenging and super effective.

Who is Core Club for?

Anyone and everyone can do Core Club – all ages, genders and levels. It’s inevitable that we all age, but Core Club can help you slow the pace at which your body declines, building it up to protect you as you get older with loads of mental and physical benefits. You’ll become fitter, stronger and feel more confident as you see and feel the visible changes to your body. You’ll also notice an improvement in your posture, sleep and mood, along with increased energy levels.

 

How do you join Core Club?

My online zoom classes enable you to log on anywhere, train from your living room, outside at the park, or you can even take your workouts on holiday with you. It’s less time consuming – only one hour per class with no hassle getting to and from the gym. Core Club offers you the possibility to become part of a community where we all reach out and share health tips, fitness goals, and build friendships. We meet up physically once a week to work out and feel the amazing energy with our teammates.

About

I’m Sharon and I’m originally from England but settled in Copenhagen over 20 years ago with my Danish husband and three children. Family, fitness, food and travel pretty much sum me up. If I’m not on my mat, you’ll find me in the kitchen creating homemade, nutritional and well-balanced food, which I believe is the key to optimal health. 

Ever since childhood, I’ve always been passionate about all kinds of fitness and nutrition. In Denmark I was addicted to Bikram yoga classes, before I discovered Inferno Hot Pilates, which is a workout combining Pilates, HIIT and resistance training. It offered the physical and mental challenges that I’d been looking for and I was instantly hooked. 

After qualifying as a fitness coach, I taught at various yoga centres in Copenhagen before branching out alone to teach small classes online – and core club was created! Today, I am still passionate about ensuring I deliver my best to my students and making core club part of people’s lifestyle for long-lasting results and training for life.

Sharon gets me out of bed 6 am three times a week - every week. It’s effective, it’s hard work and it’s fun. She has built a community feeling online, that you don’t want to let down.  This is the “only” exercise I do, and I’m in the shape of my life.

After almost a year of working mainly from home due to COVID-19, my employer made it possible for us all to follow Sharons’ online workout-sessions during work hours. After many months of very passive working habits and limited training options, it was sorely needed J I really appreciated the workouts as they both challenged me but at the same time were safe on the knees with little to no jumping. A lot of the workout is spent lying on the mat, training the core, back, legs and arms, which I enjoyed as slow, weight-based workouts work better for me than cardio. I really appreciated the focus on hips and buttocks and how bridges always was a basis part of the workout.  Sharon is fun, positive and an encouraging instructor, who varies her exercises from workout to workout and manages to motivate through the screen – even when she cannot see the participants. I would definitely recommend Sharon’s classes to anyone – no matter fitness level – in order to get stronger, fitter and happier!
